Slow Cooker Maple Syrup Glazed Carrots
The great part about this slow cooker recipe? You don’t need very many ingredients at all!
- 1lb of baby carrots
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- parsley flakes to season at the end
Start by adding in your pound of baby carrots into the slow cooker.
Next, in a separate bowl, mix together your chicken stock, maple syrup, and coconut oil.
Once all mixed together well, pour over the carrots in the slow cooker.
Take a spoon and mix around so that they’re all covered in the mixture.
Cook on low for about 2 1/2 hours.
Then, remove the slow cooker lid and slow.
Place the lip back on top of the slow cooker but don’t latch down. Leave it slightly cracked open and let the carrots cook for about another 20-30 minutes.
Once they are done, sprinkle in your parsley flakes and serve.
