Being able to make a dish that’s fast and simple but still delicious is always on my radar. And while my kids aren’t picky eaters, they do like to have a dish that has great flavor. This is why this slow cooker chicken over rice recipe is so popular in our house.

Slow Cooker Chicken over Rice
Ingredients to make slow cooker chicken over rice:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups of milk
- 3 chicken breasts
- minute rice (as much as you want)
How to make slow cooker chicken over rice
Add your can of cream of mushroom soup into your slow cooker
Next, add in your milk.
Once added, whisk together to give a good mix.
Next, add in your chicken breasts into the mixed liquid in your slow cooker.
Once added, put on the lid, turn your slow cooker into high and cook for 3 hours.
After the three hours, take off your lid and mash up or shred the cooked chicken inside the slow cooker.
Cook your minute rice according to the directions. Once done, spoon your slow cooker chicken over the top of your rice.
Top with salt and pepper as needed.
